Get to know us

With more than two decades in the industry, we’ve come a long way from traditional recycling calendars. From the day we opened our doors in Toronto to launching the very first waste and recycling app, nothing fuels us more than helping residents and communities put the environment first.

Our history & mission

We began our journey in 2001 helping communities educate residents through traditional wall recycling calendars, an inexpensive solution for municipalities that didn’t have extra budget for education.

Ten years later, as technology use skyrocketed, we developed the world’s first mobile app for local waste and recycling programs, My Waste.

To align with our evolving mission of not only providing but modernizing recycling education and empowering residents, we officially re-introduced ourselves to the world as Recycle Coach.

Our continued dedication to expanding our network took us into workplaces and universities and fueled the launch of our enhanced education PRO Package.

We hit our biggest company milestone to date: officially supporting 1,700+ municipalities and millions of people.
